Description

Monotherapy: When caused by susceptible organisms, it is indicated for the treatment of the following infections:i. Upper and lower respiratory tract infections ii. Upper and lower urinary tract infections iii. Other intra-abdominal infections, such as cholangitis, cholecystitis, and peritonitis iv. Meningitis versus Septicaemiavi. Infections of the skin and soft tissues 7. Infections of the bones and joints viii. Gonorrhea, endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and other genital tract infectionsCombination Therapy: The majority of infections can be effectively treated with Sulbactum and Cefoperazone alone due to their broad spectrum of activity. Sulbactum/Cefoperazone, however, may also be used in conjunction with other antibiotics if necessary. Renal function should be tracked while on an aminoglycoside during treatment.
