Description

For a period of 60 days, children aged 0 to 17 years should receive 15 mg/kg (maximum 500 mg per dose) every 12 hours in order to prevent anthrax infection. Plague patients under the age of 17: 15 mg/kg, up to a maximum of 500 mg per dose, every 8 to 12 hours for a period of 14 days.
