Description
Benzydamine hydrochloride, one of a class of medications known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), is an ingredient in Benzydamine Mouthwash/Gel. Benzydamine reduces pain and inflammation (redness, swelling, and a heated feeling) in the mouth and throat. It accomplishes this by preventing prostaglandin formation.
