A clear, sterile, amorphous hydrogel called Cutimed Gel can be used to help debride necrotic and sloughy tissue, lowering the possibility of maceration. In addition to providing moisture to dry wounds even during the latter stages of recovery, the gel can be used to treat continental dermatitis.
