Description
Bile acid called Urso (ursodiol) is used to prevent gallstones in overweight patients undergoing rapid weight loss, as well as to treat small gallstones in patients who cannot have gallbladder surgery. Additionally, primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) is treated with urso.
