Description

Phenazopyridine hydrochloride, or Urilef, is prescribed to treat the symptoms of pain and irritability in diseases like prostatitis, urethritis, and cystitis. It also relieves burning, urgency, frequency, and other discomforts brought on by irritation of the lower urinary tract mucosa from infections, trauma, surgery, and endoscopic procedures.
