Description

In addition to treating severe feverish conditions, this medication is used to treat infections and inflammation of the mouth, throat, and oropharynx. It is also used to treat periodontal diseases, aphthae (oral mucous membrane vesicles), gingivitis (inflammation of the gums), glossitis (inflammation of the tongue), stomatitis (oral infection), tonsillitis (inflammation of the tonsils), and mycosis (fungal infection), particularly thrush.
