When susceptible strains of the specified microorganisms cause the infections listed below, cefixime is indicated for treatment: Complicated infections of the urinary tract Acute bronchitis and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis; – Otitis media; – Pharyngitis and tonsillitis; – Uncomplicated gonorrhea (cervical/urethral).
