Description

For the majority of patients, amlodipine besylate can be the only medication used to control blood pressure. It is recommended for use as a first line treatment for hypertension.When myocardial ischemia results from either a fixed obstruction (stable angina) or a vasospasm/vasoconstriction (prinzmetal’s or variant angina) of the coronary vasculature, amlodipine besylate is recommended as the first line of treatment.
