To improve glycaemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes, GALZA-Met combines two antihyperglycemic medicines with distinct modes of action: metformin hydrochloride, a member of the biguanide class, and vildagliptin, a member of the DPP-4 (dipeptidyl-peptidase-4) inhibitor class.
