Description

This drug is used to treat female infertility. It functions by inducing a rise in the hormones necessary for the development and release of a mature egg, or ovulation. For women with primary pituitary or ovarian failure—a condition in which the ovaries are unable to produce eggs normally—this medicine is not advised.
