Description

Patients with brain ischemia (inadequate blood supply to the brain), cerebral atherosclerosis (thinning off of brain artery walls), and cerebral circulatory insufficiencies (obstruction of brain arteries) are treated with this medication on a chronic basis. This medication is used acutely in patients requiring resuscitation, intensive care, brain intoxication, and cerebral vascular accidents. Rehabilitation for the psyche, motor skills, and senses also uses it.
