Description

Prevention and treatment of iron and folic acid deficiencies prior to, during, and following pregnancy (during lactation). The structure of the iron(III)-hydroxide polymaltose complex is comparable to that of ferritin, the physiological iron storage protein. The IPC complex is stable.
