Description

Patients (over 12 years old) with noninvasive strains of Escherichia coli causing traveler’s diarrhea should take a 200mg dosage. For individuals who are 18 years of age or older, a dose of 550 mg is recommended to lower the likelihood of an overt hepatic encephalopathy (HE) recurrence.
