Description

Numerous fungal skin infections, including ringworm, jock itch, and athlete’s foot, are treated with econazole. In addition, pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection resulting in a lightening or darkening of the skin on the arms, legs, neck, and chest, is treated with this medication.
