Description

This drug is used to treat a few gastrointestinal and stomach disorders. Metoclopramide is prescribed as a 4–12 week short-term treatment for persistent heartburn when other medications aren’t quite effective enough. Heartburn that happens during the day or after a meal is the main reason it is used.
