Description

It reduces dopamine-mediated nausea and vomiting by blocking dopamine D2 receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) and in hypothalamus. This medication prevents reflux by increasing the release of acetylcholine, which in turn promotes increased motility in the intestines and stomach.
