Description

It is used to treat adults and children who are at least 5 years old who have erosive esophagitis, or damage to the esophagus from stomach acid brought on by gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD. Typically, pantoprazole is administered for up to eight weeks at a time until your esophagus heals.
