Description

A xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibitor called gouric is used for the long-term treatment of hyperuricemia in adult gout patients who do not respond well to an allopurinol dose that has been maximally titrated, who are intolerant to allopurinol, or for whom allopurinol therapy is not recommended.
